Moving options

Spain is one of our most frequently travelled corridors, particularly from the Netherlands, Germany, France and the UK, which means groupage departures are usually available on a regular cycle rather than a one-off booking. If your move date is fixed or your volume fills most of a vehicle, dedicated transport removes the loading/unloading stops of a shared route. For retirees and second-home owners relocating permanently, a slightly flexible date often makes groupage a sensible cost-saving choice; for a corporate transfer with a fixed start date, dedicated transport is usually the more predictable option.

Packing services

Our packing team wraps and boxes household goods, with extra attention to furniture, artwork, mirrors and appliances that need to withstand a multi-day road journey. You can pack boxed items yourself and have us handle only furniture and fragile pieces, or hand over the whole process. For moves into older buildings with narrow stairwells, common in parts of Barcelona and Madrid, we also plan furniture disassembly in advance so nothing arrives at a doorway it cannot fit through.

Storage

If your Spanish property is not ready on the date your goods arrive, or you are moving out before your next address is confirmed, we can arrange short or longer-term storage rather than forcing the move to happen in one uninterrupted step. This is a common situation for retirees finalising a property purchase, where the moving date and the completion date do not always land on the same day.

Road transport within the EU is straightforward from a border perspective; the practical variables are more about access at both ends — narrow historic streets in cities like Barcelona or Valencia, lift availability, and parking restrictions — which we ask about when planning collection and delivery. Coastal areas popular with retirees, such as the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca, sometimes involve a longer final stretch from the motorway to the property, which we factor into the delivery window rather than treating as an unplanned delay.
